Essential Question(s):

How can I find attractive templates in word for professional business and home use?  How can I save time by inserting text automatically that I key over and over again?

Big Idea(s):

Microsoft word has already supplies it’s users with thousands of ready made documents where you just have to fill in the blank.  You can save time by automatically insert large pieces of text that you key over and over again with just a command.

Instructional Planning

  • Instructor will illustrate commands using a Smart board or Overhead. Instructor will also supply individual instruction sheets and or Text pages explaining commands.
  • Students will complete a series of assignments selected by instructor to displaying that they have mastered the commands.
