The West Haven School District is comprised of nine schools. There is one high school, West Haven High School, which includes an alternative high school program. Bailey Middle School accommodates students in grades 7 and 8.  Students in grades 5 and 6 attend Carrigan Intermediate School.




The six elementary schools, which house students from grades PreK-4, are: Alma E. Pagels  Elementary School, Edith E. Mackrille Elementary School, Forest Elementary School, Savin Rock Community School, Seth G. Haley Elementary School and Washington Elementary School. The pre-kindergarten classes are primarily for special needs students, but do include some typical students. 

The school district has nearly 6,000 students. We are very proud to all be Westies and part of the West Haven School Community.
