Big Idea(s):

  • The Life skill unit will give the participants the knowledge of means to conduct their life in a healthy manner.
  • Physical activities create opportunities to make friends it also can help to reduce stress levels.

  • H.11.4 Engage in a variety of appropriate physical activities with individualized goals, during and outside of school, that promotes the development and improvement of physical fitness level
  • H.13.1 Apply safe practices, rules, procedures etiquette and good sportsmanship in all physical activity settings, and takes initiative to encourage others to do the same
  • H.14.3.  Use physical activity as a positive opportunity for social and group interaction and development of lifelong skills and relationships.
  • H.9.5. Participate in a wide variety of activities, including dance, games, sports and lifetime physical activities
